Contemplation

A Major Theme of
Hill Connections

Introduction

Magnificat chorus- Kathy Sherman, CSJ;

This major section of Hill Connections includes diverse ways -- art, rituals, stories, and short reflective pieces -- to invite contemplation and taking time to "be still and know that I am God." With the eyes of faith, God is experienced in and through people, nature, joys and sorrows, quiet moments, and special rituals.

You are invited to choose whatever most suits you on any given day:

Blue dot "Aha" Moments (bimonthly additions)

Blue dot Faith Reflections (bimonthly additions)

Blue dot Inspirational People (quarterly additions)

Blue dot Links to Contemplative and Spirituality Sites (regular additions)

Blue dot Rituals (quarterly additions)

Blue dot Spirituality and Art (monthly additions)

"Mindful now of our own rich tradition of meditation and contemplative prayer and eager to learn what is 'true and holy' in other religions, the time is right for us to learn from one other, from whatever culture or religion, all that is helpful in moving toward a simpler life, a deeper life and a more authentic life in which the inner experience of God is primary and energizing and centering."

"Many Mansions," Pascaline Coff, OSB
